Menomonie Fire Department Fire Dept
The Menomonie Fire Department has been in existence for over 120 years. The department currently consists of twenty-five full time EMS and Firefighting personnel,one clerk typist,and the Fire Chief. The department responds to an average of 2000 alarms yearly. We are constantly upgrading our ability to respond in the areas of hazardous materials,EMS, and confined space, and other designated responses that are required by this department. The City of Menomonie is a small class 4 city within the state of Wisconsin.The Department also responds to a rural area of 270 square miles outside the city of Menomonie out of two (2) fire stations. One is located at 116 west Main Street, and the other located at 2321 Stout Road. Menomonie Police Department

The Police Department moved to the Dunn County Judicial Center on December 8, 1998 from its old location on 17th St. in Menomonie. The Police Department shares the Dunn County Judicial Center facility with the Dunn County Sheriff's Department, Dunn County Jail, Dunn County Courthouse, and Dunn County Emergency Communications Center.
